Sweet new concession for Hamleys Regent Street

Hamleys Regent Street has announced the addition of London’s most Instagrammable dessert emporium, Hans & Gretel, to its Ground Floor retail space.

The popular experiential dessert specialist, known for its fairy-tale theming, will add to the destination offering that is Hamleys’ Regent Street store. Hans & Gretel joins recently opened DIY treats concession Dibs – which offers pizza and more and is open daily on the fifth floor – to expand Hamleys’ revamped food and beverage offering.

Launched in 2019, and with stores already established in Camden and across Europe, Hans & Gretel offers London’s best creative desserts with an extra magical flare, inspired by the famous European folk tale. Offering sweet treats and imaginative snacks, Hans & Gretel at Hamleys will serve up homemade gelato in a range of delicious flavours, fluffy, cinnamon-dusted Chimney Cakes, candyfloss-encased gelato cones, the famous Bubble Waffle, melt in your mouth lollipops and indulgent doughnuts.

Hamleys CEO, Sumeet Yadav, says: “We are so pleased to welcome Hans & Gretel in-store at Regent Street. Known for its fairy-tale dessert offerings, this brand will really appeal to our visitors, and the experience side of the concession aligns with the fun, magic and theatre of Hamleys. We look forward to giving our visitors an elevated destination experience in-store with this magical addition to our food and beverage offering.”

“The setting of the world’s oldest and finest toy shop, Hamleys, provides the perfect backdrop for Hans & Gretel’s second London location,” says Linda Lee, Co-Owner, Hans & Gretel UK. “We look forward to collaborating with the iconic brand to create exclusive desserts and a showstopping concession that will add further magic to what is already a landmark destination in London.”

Hans & Gretel at Hamleys Regent Street will be open every day from 10am during store hours. Hamleys will soon be announcing a full timetable of activations to celebrate the Queen’s upcoming Jubilee, including a limited-edition dessert available from Hans & Gretel.
