TOYMASTER SHOW: Casdon Toys

The team at third-generation family-run business Casdon Toys are looking forward to highlighting a host of new products as well as a brand-new licence at the Toymaster May Show, which begins today at The Majestic Hotel, Harrogate.

A major focus during the show will Joseph Joseph, the latest licence in Casdon’s portfolio. Casdon will be launching six products designed to look just like the real thing: the Joseph Joseph Chop2Pot, Elevate, Nest, Bake, Go Eat and the Extend, which takes water play to a new level.

The Joseph Joseph Extend set comes with a wash bowl and tray
to capture spills, while water can be pumped from the bowl through the dispenser and back again for endless play. It includes a CleanTech brush, dish rack, cutlery, plates and bowls, which change colour when added to water for added play value.

The Chop2Pot playset features the iconic Joseph Joseph folding chopping board and Elevate knife as well as four choppable play foods: an onion, tomato, carrot and potato. All the foods showcase Casdon’s innovative product technology, ChopPop. The play food fits together with a trademark “pop” sound, allowing little hands to safely and easily “chop” the food, and then “pop” it back together.

Casdon is also expanding its Dyson range with three new SKUs, including the Dyson Supersonic and Corrale Deluxe Styling Set. This dynamic duo incorporates mini versions of the Dyson Supersonic Hairdryer and Dyson Corrale Straighteners – perfect for mini-me styling sessions. With a range of enticing features to keep little ones occupied for hours, the set comes complete with two interchangeable nozzles, a barrel brush and detangling comb.

Meanwhile, existing bestsellers will see a contemporary colour refresh, in line with Casdon’s recent re-brand. The Kenwood Mixer will be available in white, just like the real thing. The only working children’s mixer on the market, it has a two-speed battery powered motor using the Kenwood planetary mixing action, and can also be operated by hand. The famous Kenwood “K” beater is also included, as well as a whisk and spatula.

Other contemporary colour refreshes on display at Toymaster will be Casdon’s Morphy Richards Kitchen Set, Post Office Set, Pick n Mix Sweet Shop, Breakfast to Go and Pan Set.

Casdon will also showcase its core collection of child-sized vacuum cleaners at the event, including the Dyson Ball Dyson Cordless as well as Henry and Hetty. All have been specially designed to be true to life, right down to the last detail including working suction for realistic role play.
