Rubies and Smyths team up for costume design competition

Rubies and Smyths Toys are collaborating on a marketing initiative that aims to not only promote both industry-leading companies, but also help spark imagination and creativity in their core audience, children.

Titled ‘Create-A-Costume’, the initiative will encourage participants to design their own dress-up in either a super suit or princess dress template. One lucky winner for each category will be picked by a panel of industry experts to have their design turned into a real, unique costume made by Rubies. There will also be a £100 gift card up for grabs for each of the winners.

The competition will be hosted on a brand-new custom web page,, where entrants can find everything they need to know about the enterprise along with downloadable templates for their designs and an upload area, where their costume concepts will be sent off for judgement.
