MGA Entertainment has added the all-new Pacific Coast range to its successful Rainbow High fashion doll portfolio. Launching this February, Pacific Coast will be the first summer-themed collection to join the popular Rainbow High universe.
Pacific Coast is “an elite fine arts high school on the U.S. West Coast, where the days are sunny and the classes are poolside”, and a place where kids are inspired to #LetYourTrueColoursShine. The new Pacific Coast range comes with seven characters (each RRP £34.99), including a boy – all rocking the latest summer trends.
The new collection will be featured on Rainbow High’s animated YouTube series, where fans can get to know each of the characters a little better, including a fan favourite, Bella Parker, as she leaves Rainbow High to visit Pacific Coast.
Each themed doll comes with an on-trend outfit and signature must-have poolside accessories. Select dolls that come with flat feet come with a bonus feature: interchangeable legs to slip from sandals to heels instantly. The full range of new characters includes Finn Rosado, Bella Parker, Simone Summers, Harper Dune, Hali Capri, Margot De Perla, and Phaedra Westward.
Equipping the new dolls with the ultimate coastal getaway, Rainbow High will also launch the Colour Change Pool and Beach Club Playset (RRP £76.99), a hangout destination with 7-in-1 LED colour changing lights. Students can lounge poolside, chill out under the adjustable umbrella and palm trees, relax with smoothies at the juice bar, or take a dip in the 7-in-1 colour change pool. Designed to spark imagination and storytelling fun, the playset is set to be a must-have accessory for Rainbow High fans who are looking to add to their collection.
Rainbow High has seen immense growth since its launch in 2020. According to NPD data, Rainbow High was the number-one fastest-growing Fashion Doll property in 2021, and the brand aims to continue to build on this in 2022 and beyond.
MGA Entertainment will support the launch of the new dolls with a multichannel PR and marketing campaign, including influencer partnerships, social media activity and YouTube and Netflix content.
