Vivid Goliath partners with Lansay to relaunch Sky Dancers

Nineties’ toy sensation Sky Dancers are back. Flutter-and-fly fairies Fuschia Fantasy (below), Coral Cutie and Purple-Licious will make their return in July 2022,  supported by a marketing campaign encompassing PR, TV and digital campaigns alongside a celebrity launch event.

The celebrity event will drive nationally relevant mass brand awareness at a location to be unveiled, while the PR campaign will tap into the nostalgia of today’s parents who played with the dolls when they were kids.

A product with a huge legacy of success, Sky Dancers sold 22 million units between 1995 and 1997. The new Sky Dancers have been reimagined from the 90s classic, maintaining the same magical play to captivate a new generation when they take flight, but updated to include modernised outfits more suited to the fashion tastes of today and the increased interest in fashion dolls

Each Sky Dancer comes with a decorated launch base. Simply pull the string to set them into flight and then marvel as they flutter back down in style.

Darrell Jones, Marketing Director, Vivid Goliath, says: “We’re delighted to announce the launch of Sky Dancers for 2022 and bring the reimagined dolls to a new generation. We’ve had a great reaction from customers so far and are excited to showcase the range further at Toy Fair. The launch plan will be targeted at parents ready to relive some nostalgia and inspiring brand-new memories for children as they watch their Sky Dancer take flight!”

Vivid Goliath will be at Stand B70 at London Toy Fair, Olympia, 25–27 January.
