In advance of the Nuremberg Toy Fair, which runs from 2 to 6 February 2022, the Spielwarenmesse team is reminding visitors to Germany to familiarise themselves with the latest travel regulations.
Before travelling to Germany, visitors must have evidence of vaccination, recovery from COVID-19 or a negative test. In addition, before travelling from a high risk area, digital registration is required.
For vaccinated participants at trade fairs travelling from a high risk area, there are no quarantine requirements – this applies to all those who have been fully vaccinated using one of the four vaccines recognised in Germany.
Even unvaccinated business travellers from high risk areas can come to Germany for up to five days without having to quarantine.
Because of the changing situation in individual countries, however, visitors should always follow the latest travel advice. The website of the Association of the German Trade Fair Industry (AUMA) provides a good summary: www.auma.de/en/exhibit/legal-matters/entry-requirements.
To ensure that everyone can benefit from successful participation at the Spielwarenmesse, the safety and hygiene measures in place are regularly reviewed in the light of the current situation and are published on the website: www.spielwarenmesse.de/en/hygiene.
