With the Nuremberg Toy Fair just weeks away, the Spielwarenmesse team have released their latest podcast.
This time the subject is Hape (aka Toynamics), leading manufacturer of wooden toys sold in over 60 countries. Owner Peter Handstein has been committed to the issue of sustainability since he founded the business in the 1990s, and continues to develop the company in innovative ways based on this principle.
Peter got in touch from Ningbo, China, to take part in an interesting conversation with Christian Ulrich, Spokesperson for the Executive Board of Spielwarenmesse eG – a discussion that included developments at his company during the Pandemic, the importance of renewable raw materials such as bamboo for the production of toys, and a new joint venture in Portugal.
The Spielwarenmesse Podcast with Peter Handstein from Hape is available from today in the media centre at www.spielwarenmesse.de/media and will also be streamed on Spotify.
