One Animation expands its digital team with new hires from Hasbro and Amazon

The content creation and licensing studio, One Animation is expanding its digital team with two new hires in the form of the former Hasbro executive, Kelly Joeman, and Amazon’s Tuan Nguyen.

Joeman (pictured left) will take up the newly created role of senior manager, audience development, while Nguyen has been tapped as the firm’s E-Commerce Manager. Both will be based in One Animation’s Singapore office. Joeman will be supported by Glen Chittur, manager, audience development.

Commencing her role on September 1st, Joeman joins One Animation from eOne/Hasbro where she held the position of Channel Manager and contributed to the success of brands including Peppa Pig, PJ Masks, Transformers, and Play-Doh.

As Senior Manager, Audience Development she will be responsible for amplifying One Animation’s digital presence, as well as driving the success of the company’s YouTube network of 20 kids targeted channels across its key brands, such as Oddbods, Antiks, Insectibles and Rob the Robot.

In her former role, Joeman generated 15 billion total views and 40 million subscribers across the channels she managed. Joeman joined eOne/Hasbro from the YouTube agency Diagonal View where she built channels for clients across USA, France and Singapore, including One Animation’s Oddbods channel.

Joeman will report into Michele Schofield, SVP, Content Distribution.

Meanwhile, Nguyen (pictured right) is responsible for leading One Animation’s direct-to-consumer e-commerce business. He reports into One Animation’s VP of Digital and e-Commerce, Amir Biran. Nguyen brings almost a decade of experience working in the online sphere and a specialism in e-commerce, having most recently served Manager and EU Expansion Project Management at Amazon. Prior to Amazon, Nguyen was the Merchandising Manager at Lotte e-commerce
