The Entertainer celebrates its 40th anniversary with £27,000 giveaway

The Entertainer is giving away £27,000 in gift vouchers as part of its 40th anniversary celebrations this year, deciding to ‘give back to its customers’ through the big giveaway, as well as hosting free to attend parties in all of its stores across the UK.

The £27,000 giveaway is open to all toys, meaning popular brands such as Disney, L.O.L Surprise!, PAW Patrol, CoComelon, Barbie and more can be taken home. Four random lucky shoppers in every store will be selected to win a gift voucher for The Entertainer, with the value of up to £40. Customers can enter in store by submitting their own ‘The Entertainer birthday card’ design.

In addition, the Entertainer is also offering 40 shoppers, who spend online between September 3 and 6, the chance to win back their whole basket.

On the weekend of September 4th and 5th, every single Entertainer store will be throwing a party for shoppers, complete with music, party games and activities, giveaways and more.

Gary Grant, founder and executive chairman of The Entertainer, said: “This is a huge milestone for us. With every passing decade we’re grateful to all customers existing and new and we wanted to do something special to celebrate. Our big weekend giveaway is all about giving back to our customers.

“Since opening our doors in 1981, we’ve continued to see generation after generation shop with us and buy the nation’s favourite games and toys. We’ve also seen our customers give back via Pennies (almost £4 million raised to date) and by donating almost 70k toys to our Toy Rehoming campaign in partnership with The Salvation Army. We’re looking forward to giving our staff and customers a fun filled weekend and putting smiles on the faces of young shoppers everywhere.”
