Britains partners with Devon’s The BIG Sheep theme park to celebrate its 100th anniversary

Britains, Europe’s oldest specialist in agriculture toys and collectables, is celebrating its 100th anniversary this summer through a new collaboration with the farming theme park, The BIG Sheep.

The latest initiative follows the brand’s successful partnership with Rural Farm Life Living Museum that was detailed earlier this year, and sees the British farming toy brand team up with the Decon amusement park to create a ‘unique experience for the whole family.’

Renowned across Devon for its thrill rides and rollercoasters as well as its agriculture-filled activities, The BIG Sheep will kick off its Britains campaign with a Britains inspired toy trail. Seven Britains posters will be hiding around the park for families to spot. The partnership will be running for three months sees the inclusion of an activity sheet for kids and families to complete throughout their day out.

Photo opportunities will also feature, while guests can enter a competition to win over £100 worth of Britains Farm Toys, including Farm in a Box, JCB 6T Dumper, Land Rover Horse Playset and International Harvester Famall 1066 Tractor.

Mary Wood, general manager UK and Ireland at TOMY, said: “This centenary year is an incredible milestone for the Britains brand, which is why we have arranged plenty of exciting partnerships to help us and our wonderful fans celebrate this landmark.

“While we have many avid collectors of the brand who have added to their vast collection of Britains products over the years, the brand is also iconic with today’s generation, which is why we have teamed up with The BIG Sheep to create an experience that can be enjoyed by the whole family.

“The BIG Sheep activity trail is filled with ways to keep kids entertained and has created a really exciting day out where children can learn and play – perfect for the summer holidays. We’re so thankful to The BIG Sheep team for helping us celebrate our 100-year anniversary, and hope it fills families’ summers with heaps of entertainment.”

Rick Turner at The BIG Sheep, added: “We are delighted to be collaborating with Britains to help mark its incredible 100-year anniversary. We have created a unique experience for farming friends and families that visit the venue and the added Britains surprises will provide even more excitement here at The BIG Sheep.

“We can’t wait for everyone to come down and take part in the Britains fun and we’re looking forward to seeing all of the fab pictures as a result of our social media competition!”
