Moose Toys is continuing to expand its Bluey toy line in order to meet the high demand for products and play-sets by parents and kids, reflective of the ‘cultural zeitgeist that the preschool series has captured’ the world over.
Produced by the Emmy Award-winning Ludo Studio for the Australian Broadcasting Corporation and BBC Studios, Bluey is a hit animated TV series that is consistently ranked number one on both Disney Channel and Disney Junior.
As master toy partner, Moose Toys is now building on the demand for toys and products with the extended product launch across plush, figures, and games.
Leading the charge is Bluey’s Caravan Adventures; a large play-set that takes inspiration from the ‘Camping’ episode in which Bluey meets a new friend called Jean Luc. The play-set includes an exclusive Jean Luc figure, a firepit, and accessories.
Alongside Bluey’s Caravan, Moose Toys is also introducing the Talking Bluey and Bingo Plush, each speaking nine phrases voiced by their characters in the hit Disney series. Meanwhile, a themed figure set features Bluey and Bingo ready to play their favourite game of pretend, Queens. The figures are dressed in a royal crown and regal brushed tricot cape that both can wear to take turns being Queen for a day. Bingo and Dad (Bandit) also like to pretend in their work attire, wearing work badges from the episode ‘Work’.
Completing the extended line is the Bluey Hopscotch Race Card Game, in which players build a hopscotch path using cards before spinning the spinner to match the colour. The first player to the finish line wins the game. The game includes 44 picture cards, colour spinner, and the four Bluey family characters.
Paul Solomon, co-owner, Moose Toys, said: “Bluey has entered the cultural zeitgeist, an actual ‘pup culture.’ In addition to topping many prestigious must-watch TV and best show lists, last year Bluey was The NPD Group’s number one new license year-over-year in the Preschool Figures, Playsets and Accessories categoryi and the number two new growth property in the total toy industry.
“It’s clear Bluey is a favorite among kids and adults, so we’re continuing to expand our toy line meet demand and allow kids to replicate their favorite episodes or create their own everyday adventures.”
Suzy Raia, VP consumer products and business development, BBC Studios, said: “Bluey is the programme that kids - and adults – just can’t get enough of. Moose Toys has done a fantastic job of bringing the characters and relatable themes to every day life so fans can immerse themselves in creative quests away from the screen for non-stop fun Bluey-style.”
