Scholastic to launch a series of Friends themed activity and picture books in new publishing first

The children’s books publisher, Scholastic really couldn’t be any more excited over its new partnership with Warner Bros. Consumer Products to launch a series of publishing firsts for the beloved TV series, Friends.

Launched in celebration of Friends: The Reunion – which aired on Sky One in the UK and HBO Max in the US earlier this year, a new series of books will see the Friends cast – Rachel, Monica, Phoebe, Joey, Chandler, and Ross – featured in a cute and funny chibi art style by illustrator Keiron Ward.

Following that, the first ever Friends picture book, titled Life is Better with Friends and created by Micol Ostow, will be made available, enabling fans to celebrate the power of friends and rediscover many of the iconic moments from the show.

This November will witness the launch of The Official Friends Colouring Book, featuring 100 pictures of fan-favourite scenes, characters, and quotes ready to be brought to life in colour.

The run will be made complete in February next year, when Scholastic launches The Official Friends Quiz and Fill-In Book, featuring quizzes, images to draw, connect the dots, mazes, and more.

Originally aired between 1994 and 2004, Friends became a pop-culture phenomenon and remains one of the  most iconic television series of all time. Funny and heart-warming, the popular series continues to attract new generations of fans.

It has been translated into 26 languages in 200 territories. It airs 110  times a day and there have been over 105 million unique broadcast viewers. All episodes of Friends and Friends: The Reunion are available to stream on Sky One in the UK and HBO Max in the US.
