MGA Entertainment answers petition to ‘bring Lalaloopsy back’ with 10th anniversary relaunch

A petition signed by thousands of mothers has been answered by MGA Entertainment, who this week has confirmed the return of its billion dollar doll franchise, Lalaloopsy for a special anniversary release.

Marking ten years since the brand’s initial launch, the doll range is being revived with the reintroduction of 25 Lalaloopsy dolls, this time with a focus on DIY crafting and traditional doll play, featuring both nostalgic dolls and a host of new additions.

The relaunch is MGA Entertainment’s response to a petition that witnessed thousands of signatures, calling for the return of the brand. It will see the range of dolls – now available for a new generation of fans – land at retailers across the globe and the US, including the likes of Target, Walmart, and Amazon.

Each Lalaloopsy doll features a unique sewn on date with a pet and arrives packaged with a reusable play-set reflective of the doll’s personality. The packaging goes on to provide an interactive play-set that children can use to create Lalaloopsy Land.

“We’re so excited to share Lalaloopsy with a whole new generation of creative children who will love to play with her,” said Isaac Larian, CEO and founder of MGA Entertainment Inc. “It’s obvious our fans miss Lalaloopsy with the amazing petition from moms. Young children love the cute characters and traditional creative play and we love to make our fans happy with the return of Lalaloopsy.”

Streaming digital offerings include YouTube content featuring the new series Lalaloopsy: Let’s Create, the Netflix Original Series We’re Lalaloopsy, and movies on Prime Video, cable and connected TVs. Families can also find activities on FacebookInstagram and Pinterest.
