The first shipment of Huffy bikes are now heading for the UK in a move that marks the beginning of a ‘huge brand development strategy’ for the company and its European distributor, United Wheels UK.
The update follows the recent news of United Wheels UK’s expansion into Europe and its plans to have stock available to British retailers this summer. The aim is for the Huffy bike brand to replicate the success it has seen in its domestic US market.
“A household name with consumers in the US, the UK team has worked hard despite global shipment delays to ensure that the Huffy bike range arrives in time for the end of summer and the important Q4 Christmas sales period,” read a statement from the United Wheels UK team.
The bikes are expected to arrive here in the UK by late August and includes a range of children’s pavement bikes, and a selection of adult bikes landing in the coming weeks.
“This arrival marks the start of a huge brand development strategy for Huffy, with many launches and exclusive ranges planned for the year ahead, along with full distribution rights to produce Disney products from 2022 across the EU,” said the team.
United Wheels UK is part of Covation Holdings Limited which houses cycling and recreation brands like Huffy, Niner, Batch, Royce Union, Buzz E-Bikes, and VAAST.
