Smart Toys and Games has signed an exclusive agreement with Whiz Kid Games to launch its new Go Genius to the UK and Ireland this autumn. The new range aims to combine fun and learning through board games with a sustainable drive delivered through each game’s design.
Whiz Kids Games’ Go Genius collection has been created for kids aged seven and upwards and developed to support key stage one and two schoolwork.
The collection has already found success here in the UK, having won the prestigious Gift of the Year award earlier in the year. It now launches with a trio of games, including Go Genius Maths, English, and World. The portfolio will be increased with the introduction of Go Genius Science, History, and Football in 2022.
Go Genius gameplay will see participants race to the finishing line by answering multiple choice questions on curriculum subjects while trying to avoid the spaces that tell them to miss a go, move backwards, or to complete a forfeit. The aim of the game is to win points in order to earn a genius stamp to put in the Go Genius passport. Stamps are provided, as well as passport for children to personalise.
Players can collect genius stamps from across the range, while each game is supported by the brand’s carefully designed Go Genius downloadable learning aids. On top of this, sustainability is at the heart of the brand, with all games made from FSC-certified wood and paper, while all materials are 100 per cent recyclable.
