Watch | Full trailer for Netflix’s final Transformers installment War for Cybertron: Kingdom lands

The full trailer for the third and final part of Netflix’s animated Transformers series, Transformers: War for Cybertron: Kingdom has landed.

War for Cybertron: Kingdom introduces a line up of characters from the popular Beast Wars spin-off as the race to locate the missing AllSpark leads Optimus Prime, the Autobots, and the Decepticons to an ancient planet.

Not only is the planet inhabited by dinosaurs, but it is also home to the Predacons and the Maximals, the two opposing tribes from the Beast Wars franchise. The series is scheduled to land on Netflix from July 29th this year.

The six episode series is the final installment in the Hasbro and Netflix partnership that saw the release of War for Cybertron: Siege in July last year, as well as War for Cybertron: Earthrise in December.

There’s still plenty of Transformers to come, however, with Transformers: Rise of the Beasts currently in production and slated for a July 2022 release, as well as another live action movie and an animated series in production with Nickelodeon.

Reports from earlier this year suggest that the project will be a 26-episode ‘action comedy series’ that focuses on a new species of robots.
