People of Play’s TAGIE Awards 2021 now open for entries

The 14th annual TAGIE Awards, presented by People of Play, is now open for nominations, encouraging the global industry to celebrate the best and brightest innovators, designers, and marketers that it has to offer.

The yearly event brings together communities from across the world’s toy and game industry, including professionals, aspirants, and fans from over 150 countries.

To commemorate the whirlwind of last year, POP has added two categories to the TAGIE Awards, showcasing the Most Innovative Licensed Product and Game Changers, spotlighting the individuals and companies who adapted to its challenges and went above and beyond to help make the world a brighter place in the midst of a pandemic.

With other categories ranging from innovators of the year, to young inventor of the year and even awards for art and marketing, the TAGIEs aim to go beyond the basics to celebrate the mix of talents necessary to be bold in the toy and game industry.

POP is also introducing an alternative and simplified option of the nomination process for members, who can simply submit any POP profile to be considered for a TAGIE Award.
