Toynamics UK and Ireland taps Nick Rushton as new area sales manager

Toynamics UK and Ireland has bolstered its sales team with the appointment of Nick Rushton as area sales manager for the North.

Rushton’s role will be to focus on driving sales forward with independent accounts and growing and developing business across the Toynamics’ toy and nursery brand portfolio, including the brands Hape, Skip Hop, Nebulous Stars, DinosArt, and Nanoblock.

His remit will cover new business development as well as nurturing existing business.

Formerly of Hornby Hobbies, Rushton brings with him an ‘excellent track record in sales,’ having worked across the firm’s big brands including Hornby, Scalextric, Corgi, Airfix, and Humbrol.

During his tenure, he covered sales for the North of England and Scotland with a focus on the independent sector.

David Allan, MD at Toynamics UK & Ireland, said: “We’re delighted to welcome Nick as our new Area Sales Manager for the North. His role is vital to the expansion and development of new business and growth within independent accounts across the Northern territory.”
