Posh Paws raises over £10,000 for NHS Charities Together with NHS Thank You Bear

The plush toy and gifting specialist, Posh Paws – alongside its parent company Whitehouse Leisure – has raised over £10,000 for NHS Charities Together through sales of its specially designed NHS ‘Thank You’ Bears over the course of the past year.

Designed to play a cheering and clapping sound when their tummy is pressed, the NHS Bears have been the focus of the fundraising initiative through which a percentage of the sale of each bear has been donated directly to the charity organisation.

While the £10,000 donation is a milestone achievement for the campaign, Posh Paws is keen to keep the momentum going and continue its mission to raise funds for the charity, with the help of its customers.

Every Thank You Bear sold helps fund support for NHS staff with counselling and helplines to protect their mental health, but also practical support such as necessary food, drink and rest areas, so that staff can continue their vital life-saving work to the best of their ability.

“Customer support by ordering the ‘Thank You’ Bears doesn’t just help NHS staff, but it also directly reaches patients, local communities and hundreds of other vital NHS projects covering the length and breadth of the UK, ensuring that support and funding reaches those who most need it,” read a statement from the team.

The firm has since cited a ‘fantastic response’ to the launch of the Thank You Bears from customers and consumers. Now, with plush billed as a number one performing toy category by the NPD Group for the biggest growth increase in April at the reopening of non-essential retail, Posh Paws aims to continue its efforts in raising more money for NHS Charities Together thiss year.
