Craft Buddy eyes portfolio and personnel growth with new hire and new recruitment drive

Craft Buddy is eyeing national growth of its portfolio and personnel, having not only appointed a new product manager in the form of Katrina Oliver, but also a new recruitment drive following its recent period of increased sales and the success of its Disney Crystal Art range.
The Chesham-based outfit has expanded its product development team with the appointment of Oliver who joins the team with a background in retail, having previously worked as a buyer at Mothercare and Boden. She will work alongside the firm’s marketing and sales teams to develop new lines and extend established offerings.
In addition, Craft Buddy is also on the look out to recruit three additional positions within the company: head of marketing, product compliance manager, and finance and HR Manager (maternity cover).
“We have had a fantastic response across the trade from our new Art & Craft range launches over the past year,” said Gary Wadhwani, co-director of Craft Buddy.
“Demand for our ranges has grown during the pandemic and, as we look to expand our influence in the Arts & Crafts sector plus explore new license partnerships, we need to bolster our team to support our plans for this year and beyond. All roles will be partly based in our office in Chesham, Bucks and partly from home. Industry experience is of course very welcome.”
