Playmobil details launch of Dino Rise and Dino Rise – The Legend of Dino Rock on YouTube

Playmobil is winding back the clock just a few millennia with the hotly anticipated launch of its new dinosaur adventure, Dino Rise at the end of the month.

The new themed launch is accompanied by its own CGI animated series, Dino Rise – The Legend of Dino Rock, which, having launched across the Playmobil YouTube channel early this month, takes fans on a prehistoric adventure over seven episodes running at seven minutes each.

Children will be able to watch the series via the YouTube Kids app as it launches in a number of languages, including German, Dutch, English, French, Spanish, and Italian.

Dino Rise is the second animated series to accompany a new Playmobil theme, joining Novelmore, the animated series based on Playmobil’s own knights universe. The latest series presents the dinosaurs of Dino Rise as young heroes fighting against evil forces. It aims to inspire adventure as kids discover a whole new side to the prehistoric giants. The matching play-sets will then allow them to become heroes of their own adventures from the end of May.

Dino Rise introduces the story and characters of the new play world: It all starts when a group of young friends around their brave leader Ian gets together at Uncle Rob’s junkyard in Texas. They learn that the shady Comet Corporation is about to destroy the legendary Dino Rock in search of valuable resources.

In their search for a solution, Ian encounters the T-Rex and other dinosaurs, the powerful keepers of Dino Rock. The teens join forces with the dinosaurs to form an inseparable team against the Comet Corp. and its evil, human-controlled machines. The giants become their helpers and companions.

“With this gigantic story, the new series from Playmobil is sure to arouse plenty of enthusiasm for the new play-sets, which will be available from the end of May,” read a statement from Playmobil.

“A mega advertising package also ensures that no one will miss out on the new Playmobil dinos. TV commercials and campaigns in print/online media and on social media accompany the launch of Dino Rise. In retail trade, the exciting new packaging concept and uniquely presented product carriers and displays will attract the attention of dinosaur fans and all those who want to become one.”
