Stateside | IMC Toys and VIP Pets partner with children’s charity Hair We Share

IMC Toys and its VIP Pets collectable brand has partnered with the New York-based charity, Hair We Share for a series of donations that will provide hairpieces to children suffering from medical hair loss.

To mark the start of the partnership, a donation of 15 hairpieces is being made through US programme, Hats By Joe, to children at the New York Presbyterian Komansky Children’s Hospital. The programme provides baseball hats with hair attached at the backs and sides, as a quick, easy, and comfortable aid in restoring confidence and improving the lives of children suffering from medical hair loss.

The pieces will be delivered in special care packages courtesy of VIP Pets by IMC Toys. Included in the care package is the new VIP Pets Glitter Twist series.

VIP Pets and Hair We Share will continue the partnership throughout 2021, donating wigs and custom care packages in order to further the goal of making a positive difference in the lives of those suffering from hair loss due to medical conditions.

“Hair We Share does such important work in helping children suffering from medical hair loss and it’s an honor to be working with them to further their mission,” said Crystal Ganir, director of marketing, IMC Toys.

“Hair can be a significant part of a child’s identity and in creating this special care package the children are not only receiving an invaluable hairpiece to help them feel better about their situation, but they’re also given a creative outlet to express themselves through the nurturing hair play that VIP Pets Glitter Twist provides.”

Dean Riskin, co-founder of Hair We Share, added: “We couldn’t imagine a better partnership fit than with VIP Pets. We are grateful for their support and know that in working together we’ll be able to bring joy to kids who need it the most.”

VIP Pets Glitter Twist are the fashionable pets with glitter woven into 12 inches of colorful, long luscious hair. Each VIP Pets Glitter Twist comes in one of six new sparkly blind packs that includes nine surprise accessories for endless styling possibilities.
