Wow! Stuff welcomes brace of new hires to its product design and sales divisions

In alignment with the firm’s growing portfolio of Tier One licensed brand signings over the past 12 months, the toy maker, Wow! Stuff has bolstered its ranks with a suite of new hires since January 2021.

The firm has welcomed a raft of new comers to its product design and development team, as well as new starters across its sales division. In fact, the firm has been recruiting consistently since the pandemic began in earnest in March last year.

“It’s always a Yippppeeee moment to celebrate when great people choose to work at Wow! Stuff. The existing team has been absolutely amazing through the pandemic and so when we recruit new Wow! Stuffers we know they have to be aligned with our culture of doing ‘WOW’, our beliefs and ambitions,” said Wow! Stuff’s CEO, Richard North.

“We treat the process as a two way interview. It’s a bit like a Wizarding World wand that chooses it’s new owner… when we find someone we think fits it’s important they feel it too.”

Ross Coffield has joined Wow! Stuff as design co-ordinator, having previously been product development manager at the consumer electronics company Skoog. Prior to that, he was senior product design engineer at Vivid Imaginations.

Teddy Edwards, previously EMEA hardlines product developer at NBCUniversal working on key brands including Jurassic World and Minions, has joined the Wow! Stuff product development team in a similar role, as senior product designer on Tier One brands.

Meanwhile, Steve Carpenter is an engineer, designer and inventor, who has previously licensed and patented toys worldwide. He joins Wow! Stuff as product design engineer. His previous role was as a product research and development specialist at a major licensed gifts manufacturer.

Chris Jobson is an industrial designer who started his career at Toys R Us in the UK and went on to become senior product designer at gifts and gadgets company Thumbs Up (UK) Ltd. Jobson joins Wow! Stuff as product designer working on Tier One brands.

Finally, Manmit Bansal joins the Wow! Stuff internal Amazon team as a sales operation support officer for the sales of the company’s key licensed brands. Prior to Wow! Stuff Bansal was a merchandisers assistant at Sainsburys and has also held various supply chain roles across the Atlantic.
