Brainstorm is putting its Easter eggs in the Klikbot basket, with expectations for the continued growth of the popular StikBot spin-off range thanks to this season’s launch of Klikbot Kreatures and Klikbot Zanimation Studio.
The latest extensions to the brand arrive as Brainstorm’s popular StikBot line continues to be a top-seller for the toy company, who, while delighted with the response to the articulated robot range, were left ‘unsurprised by the instant hit’ that led to sell-out success over autumn last year.
Like StikBot, Klikbot appeals not only to the collectable market, but the fans of animation, too, with a precise clocking mechanism that has been billed as ‘perfect for making stop-frame animation videos’ using the free Zing Studio app.
That same ‘clicking’ mechanism has also put the range in good stead with audiences across the fidget toy market. The company now expects that the Klikbot single figures will enjoy an extra boost in sales from the expected resurgence in the fidget toy market in general.
Lianne Bertelli, the retained PR consultant for Brainstorm, said: “As well as having the important collectability factor, Klikbots offer so much more. Many of our customers say that children love the range purely for the fidget toy aspect but then when they discover what they can create, they then discover that these little pocket money toys really give added play value.”
With multiple play possibilities, Brainstorm has its sights on a successful year for the brand and its extensions, including Klikbot Kreatures, a series of Kreatures that can be paired with the single hero or villain figures in animated films.
Brainstorm remains committed to its investment in the StikBo and Klikbot brand with a 360 degree marketing plan that continues to roll out, including a 16-day Easter TV advertising campaign.
