Hasbro and Jazwares launch first licensed Micro Machines collection with General Motors

Hasbro and Jazwares are expanding the new Micro Machines universe with the launch of the first licensed collection of vehicles, partnering with the popular General Motors brand for the first official line.

The popular miniature vehicles and play-sets act to build on last year’s relaunched Micro Machines collection that was revived and brought back from the ’80s and ’90s to entertain modern day audiences with a contemporary spin.

Launching under the partnership are the General Motors Icons and Drag Race Classics Micro Machines World Packs, each featuring an assortment of five recognisable Chevrolet, Cadillac, or Pontiac vehicles.

‘Collect and connect your world with these highly collectible themed packs that feature five vehicles and a corresponding Micro City scene that allows you to play or display your vehicles,’ read a joint statement from Hasbro and Jazwares.

‘Micro Machines World Packs deliver complete play out of the box and are perfect for car enthusiasts of all ages. With an iconic identifiable theme, eye-catching details, these packs make a great gift for both kids and collectors alike.’

GM vehicles can also be found in Micro Machines Starter Pack Assortment, each pack featuring three Micro Machines vehicles that reflect iconic vehicle themes or a collection of vehicles from some of the coolest car manufacturers today.

Chase figures also make a comeback, with the Rare (Silver), Ultra-rare (Gold), and first ever Treasure (Ruby) chase vehicles.
