LOL Surprise celebrates success of its Pineapple Dance Studios partnership

The global fashion doll brand L.O.L. Surprise! has partnered with Pineapple Dance Studios for a series of virtual dance workshops aimed at encouraging children to express themselves, get active, and dance.

The two free of charge workshops took place on Sunday, March 7th, with 600 families tuning in from home to watch the Pineapple Dance Studios instructors teach the energetic dance routine to the L.O.L.  Surprise! song ‘I’m a Queen’.

Fans of the brand took to Instagram to share their excitement and newly learned fierce dance moves, using the hashtag #HowDoYouDance to reach a total of over eight million people throughout the UK and beyond.

To spread the message far and wide, influencer L.O.L. Surprise! ambassadors Fashion Laerta (1.2m  followers), Olka Fiolka (150k followers) and Casey Barker (317k followers) each shared content of the class, dressed in L.O.L. Surprise! clothing, available from George at Asda.

The Pineapple Dance Studios partnership comes after a string of successful launch moments for the new  L.O.L. Surprise! Dance Dance Dance range, including top-tier celebrity partnerships, influencer  collaborations and fan giveaways on the L.O.L. Surprise! owned channels and retailer sites.

The message behind the Pineapple Dance Studios x L.O.L. Surprise! dance classes follows on from the recent #WeAreLOL campaign, a social media campaign launched by L.O.L. Surprise! in January 2021 with the aim of helping children feel empowered and confident while celebrating individuality.

Neil Bandtock, managing director at MGA Entertainment, said: “We’re delighted to have partnered with  such a prominent name in the dance industry, and the reaction from our fans following the Pineapple Dance Studios workshops has been incredible.

“At L.O.L. Surprise! we’re always thinking of new ways to  bring the product lines to life, offer money can’t buy experiences and give back to the L.O.L. Surprise! community who are the heart of the brand. Watch this space for more of the same.”

Debbie Moore, Queen of Pineapple Dance Studios, added: “The LOL Surprise! Dance Dance Dance  collection is the perfect partnership for Pineapple. These dancing divas in their fabulous fashion are must haves for our Pineapple Dance Fans who loved learning the coolest Dance Dance Dance moves from  Pineapple teachers live from our London studios.”
