The children’s audio platform, Yoto and its award-winning Yoto Player has launched a new line of LifeScore Dream Cards, a collection of musical cards developed to help children sleep and enjoy emotionally positive dreams.
The new initiative will see the launch of three pieces of music, including Dreams of Forest, Dreams of Ocean, and Dreams of Space, as three individual Yoto Cards. The audio was created by LifeScore and was composed and recorded at the iconic Abbey Road Studios.
The audio has then been blended with high-fidelity field recordings and processed into hour-long compositions.
The launch follows the findings of recent studies that have shown the relationship between hearing music in dreams and experiencing positive emotions while dreaming. According to the research, the phenomenon is more likely to occur if a person spends more of their waking day listening to music.
There is also growing evidence that enjoying slow, relaxing music before bed can be beneficial for heart health.
Ben Drury, CEO and co-founder of Yoto said: “At Yoto, we are always thinking of new and innovative concepts to add to our audio platform, so we are thrilled to be working with the LifeScore team. Like us, the LifeScore team is passionate about great audio, and are rethinking the role it plays in our lives.
“LifeScore’s Dream Cards are an exciting addition to Yoto’s growing catalogue of sleep-focused audio and features, and we’re excited for what the future of this partnership holds.”
