The British Toy and Hobby Association will be welcoming a new chairman next week, as a changing of the guard will give thanks to Andrew Laughton for his tenure with the industry organisation and introduce VTech’s own Graham Canning to the position.
The change-over will take effect as of Monday, March 15 as the team waves off Laughton who will have completed his term as chairman of the BTHA. VTech’s sales director, Canning will take up the role and will be joined by vice-chairman, Simon Pilkington, group managing director at John Adams.
“We will be sorry to say goodbye to Andy who has served the association so well for many years, most recently as chairman of the association,” said the BTHA in a statement issued to members this morning.
“We wish Andy all the very best going forward on behalf of members and are sure we will cross paths again in our friendly sector at one of our events. Thank you Andy.”
Going forward, Laughton will be contactable on email at Lordylaughton@gmail.com
