Moose Toys has been named the Walmart Toy Supplier of the Year during the US retailer’s seventh annual Supplier Growth Form that was held virtually earlier this week.
The event saw Walmart not only share the company’s upcoming strategic initiatives and areas of focus for future growth, but also celebrate the companies that had helped it achieve success over the past 12 months. Among them was the international toy supplier, Moose Toys.
Meanwhile the toy maker has entered the new year with what it has billed ‘its strongest line-up of products to date,’ with launches from the likes of Treasure X, Kindi Kids, and Bluey set to drive sales for the firm across the international space.
Just this week, Moose Toys picked up no fewer than five awards at the Australian Toy and Hobby Fair, where it was celebrated for its work with the pre-school phenomenon, BBC Studio’s Bluey.
“It is truly an honor to be recognized with this award by Walmart who continue to be one of our most valued global partners,” said Glenn Abell, president, Moose Toys USA.
“Moose first received Walmart’s Toy Supplier of the Year award in 2015, and I am so proud of the hard work and dedication that has put Moose in a position to be recognized again as Toy Supplier of the Year for 2020.
“We have our strongest line up yet for 2021 across our most popular brands, including Squeakee, Heroes of Goo Jit Zu, Treasure X, Kindi Kids, Bluey and more, as well as exciting new introductions. We look forward to continued momentum this year.
“Most of all, this is a recognition of tremendous partnership between the Walmart merchant team and Moose staff in Bentonville who are supported by so many talented colleagues in Los Angeles, Hong Kong and Melbourne.”
