IMC Toys’ VIP Pets Mini Fans makes catwalk debut at Mini Mode: Global Kids Fashion Week

IMC Toys watched its new collectable doll range, VIP Pets Mini Fans, makes its debut on the catwalk over the weekend as the fashion-focused toys took part in the Mini Mode: Global Kids Fashion Week’s first virtual runway show.

Hot on the heels of the successful UK launch of the VIP Pets range of fashionable pet-themed dolls, VIP Pets Mini Fans accompanies models showcasing a mix of established and emerging childrenswear designers from around the globe.

The mini models donned a collection of wigs inspired by, and mimicking the pet dolls’ own hairstyles, as they accessorised their looks by carrying their own VIP Pets Mini Fans with them.

“Working with VIP Pets Mini Fans has been a dream,” said Amanda Rabor CEO and founder of Mini Mode, Global Kids Fashion Week. “The product is both creative and fun and the clients loved the idea of incorporating them with wigs into a kids fashion show. The actual show is dynamic and fun just like the toys. The kids loved them.”

IMC UK marketing manager, Kerry Tarrant, added: “At IMC, we are passionate about reaching audiences who are as diverse and inclusive as Mini Mode, and to be able to do so in such a fun and creative way has been the icing on the cake.

“The synergy between the VIP Pets Mini Fans dolls and Mini Mode is spot-on. Where better to display a range of dolls that have a passion for styling and showing off their fabulous hairstyles than on the catwalk?

“Seeing the dolls on the runway alongside such glamour, creativity, and empowerment within the global kids’ arena has been a real high point for the brand. The wigs are genius and completely capture the very essence of the VIP Pets and their styling possibilities – from ultra-long, multi-coloured plaits and ponytails to loose curls, in vibrant shades of pink, purple, red, green, blue and yellow.”

VIP Pets Mini Fans are smaller versions of the VIP Pets dolls, offering a pocket-money extension to the existing range. The range also features in the latest VIP Pets animated YouTube series Kitoons.

Each Mini Fan has a favourite VIP Pet, and they form six different fan squads – Pinkilicious, Disco Divas, Queen Ladies, Fantasy Club, Dream Team and Rainbow Surfers – plus Coco, the president of the fan club, and a rare collectible character.

Each Mini Fan has different coloured hair and an individual hairstyle, and comes with a cool heart shaped comb capsule, packed with surprise goodies including hair accessories to style the Mini Pets’ extra-long hair (20cm).
