Bandai UK unveils latest CoComelon toy range as the pre-school IP tops NPD charts for January

The lid has been lifted on Bandai UK’s newest line-up of CoComelon toys, a range inspired by the pre-school phenomenon and leading new infant/toddler license for the month of January, according to NPD.

Manufactured by Jazwares and distributed in the UK and Europe by Bandai UK, the CoComelon toy range first launched in autumn/winter last year, and has since developed a new spring/summer 2021 collection of SKUs including First Act Instruments, Musical Tractor, educational collectables, and a new wave of plush.

With 100 million subscribers to its online content, CoComelon teaches children how to take on everyday activities and role models positive behaviour with a sense of enthusiasm. Relatable narratives within the series span everyday actions such as eating vegetables, tying shoe laces, and getting ready for bed.

Nic Aldridge, managing director, Bandai UK, said: “We saw an amazing reaction to the range during the toy fair season of 2020 and then again during our Autumn launch period, so always knew that we had a winning collection on our hands.

“It’s fantastic to see CoComelon cited as the top-ranking Infant/Toddler License in the latest NPD results. I have always had great confidence that the fantastic product range from our partners Jazwares would do well, as they have a significant focus on development and learning thrilled to move into 2021 with an even wider offering of innovative themed, fun, educational toys to engage pre-schoolers and extend their enjoyment of the show.”

With bright and bold colours and cheerful nursery rhymes and phrases, CoComelon attracts children aged one to four to sing and dance along with JJ and his siblings as they learn letters, numbers, animal sounds, colours and more.
