The Toy Coach Azhelle Wade launches The Toy Academy second edition

The three times patented toy inventor and winner of multiple toy awards, Azhelle Wade – also known as The Toy Coach – is launching the second edition of her popular Toy Creators Academy.

Billed as the first toy business programme of its kind, The Toy Academy teaches participants how to fully develop a toy or game idea like a pro, and then pitch their product to buyers and toy companies for the opportunity to get their creations into the hands of the consumers.

The second edition of Toy Creators Academy will launch today at 7pm EST (which will be midnight for those night owls in the UK) and is set to include more actionable tips and lessons for the TCA students to help them propel their toy ideas to the next level.

In this installment, Wade has partnered with several industry experts who have created informative content exclusively for TCA 2.0. The length of course has also nearly doubled as per students’ feedback from the first launch of the program last year.

When the first edition of The Toy Academy was launched in 2020 it was met with an ‘overwhelming number of positive reviews from former students,’ Wade explains in a statement to the media.

“To me, this course has been invaluable and what Azhelle is doing in the toy industry is pacing the way for new creators like myself to enter,” said Pearly Tasker, an Academy alumnus.

Wade’s industry experience spans over a decade with a history of building up multi-million dollar brands. She has been featured on NBC’s Access Daily, Invent Right TV, The Toy Book, Women in Toys, Power Kids Podcast, and more.

In September 2020, Azhelle launched The Toy Creators Academy, a first-of-its-kind online program designed to help aspiring toy creators develop and launch their toy ideas.
