Vivid Goliath brings classic games Pig Goes Pop and Gooey Louie home for 2021 portfolio

Classic Goliath games Pig Goes Pop, Gooey Louie, Doggie Doo, and Triominos will be joining the Vivid games portfolio this autumn/winter as the toy maker outlines its plans to ‘diversify more than ever’ with a wide range of titles to suit all ages and price points.

Already, Vivid Goliath has enjoyed a ‘strong positive response’ to its A/W 2021 virtual previews, and is now looking to deploy ‘an array of marketing arsenal to reach households across TV, influencers, digital campaigns, and PR’ as it re-establishes the titles under its own wing.

Having enjoyed a prosperous tenure under the watch of John Adams Leisure, classic titles such as Pig Goes and Gooey Louie are now re-entering the Vivid Goliath portfolio as the firm looks to tap into a further reaching audience for games.

“By mutual agreement we are bringing the classic Goliath games Pig Goes Pop, Gooey Louie, Doggie Doo, and Triominos into the Vivid games portfolio for A/W ’21,” said Vivid’s general manager, Nick Thomas. “I want to thank the team at John Adams Leisure for building these games over the years into classic family favourites.”

Games across the portfolio have seen sell-out success over the course of 2020, driven by increased demand for family gaming as a means of entertainment throughout periods of lockdown. One of the sell out successes of last year was its Floor is Lava title, a version of the playground game that has seen families across the UK recreating its adventurous game play at home.

“We have it all to play for in ‘21” added Thomas. “We are diversifying more than ever as we move into ’21 with a strong offering across Kids Games, Family, Kidult, Adult Strategy and Licensed titles along with a range curated to offer value solutions, FOB as well as puzzles.

“We have solutions for all retailers needs bringing the best of ranges from our global offices that launched many of the newer titles in 2020.”
