Orchard Toys appoints Banaghan & Co as exclusive distributor for Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland

Orchard Toys has appointed Banaghan & Co as its exclusive distributor for the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland in a partnership that came into effect as of January 1st this year.

The pre-school games specialist took its time in making the appointment following the retirement of its Irish agent, Bryan Walker, in the summer.

Simon Prest, sales director at Orchard Toys, commented: “Bryan did a fantastic job for Orchard Toys over many years and we wanted to ensure that we considered all options before making an appointment, so that our Irish customers continue to receive the best possible availability and service, particularly given the complications that Brexit will create.

“We are thrilled to have entered into a partnership with Banaghans, as they share so many of our own values.”

Colm Banaghan of Banaghan & Co, added: “We look forward to working with such a well-known and respected brand in the retail trade and a company with a track record of delivering on service and quality.

“We will safeguard the high profile of this range in Ireland and ensure maximum availability of product going forward.”
