Epoch Making Toys is celebrating the importance of family throughout these turbulent times with the launch of its The Gift of Family Sylvanian Families influencer campaign. Through the campaign, the toy firm will work with celebrity and high-profile Instagram creators to promote its seasonal sets and family collection.
Building UGC around the new Gingerbread Playhouse and Marshmallow Mouse family, each of the influencers will also be running a dedicated competition for their followers to win a mystery Sylvanian Family set, not only for themselves, but also one to gift to another family.
“This is a really emotive and engaging campaign that is designed to communicate the importance of family to everyone this Christmas,” said Suzie Howes, marketing manager at Epoch.
“2020 represents the 35th Anniversary of the brand and has been a year where families have been distanced and isolated so we wanted to celebrate the power of family using the magic of our very own Sylvanian Families. By also creating the opportunity for people to win their own Sylvanian Family set and one to gift to another family we are aiming to spread the love of Sylvanian Families across the UK.”
2020 has seen the brand experience a dramatic increase in sales across the year due to families being stuck indoors and exploring new and creative ways to play together. Looking forward to 2021, Epoch plans to introduce two new families, the Pookie Pandas and Midnight Cats, as well as a host of new furniture sets and Baby Amusement Park Ready to Play sets for spring/summer.
