The Good Retail Awards 2021 is now open for entry, encouraging retailers to celebrate their triumphs over the course of a difficult 12 months. This year’s edition of the awards will take place in virtual form and as part of Hyve’s Spring Fair @ Home in February next year.
The Good Retail Awards 2021 aims to shine a light on all those in the retail sector that have achieves success in spite of the challenges that 2020 has thrown at them. This year’s judges will be looking at those that have employed creativity, the use of technology or otherwise to navigate the waters of the past year.
“Our judges are looking for positive innovations that benefit both retailers and their customers,” said Hyve via a press release.
“Last year’s Good Retail Awards certainly proved to be a huge success. The quality of entries was high, with many showcasing original and pioneering ideas which weren’t necessarily reliant on significant financial investment, yet made a huge difference to the retail experience. Winners will receive industry recognition, a trophy, positive PR across Modern Retail, Spring Fair, its social media channels and the wider retail industry.
“In light of 2020 being such a challenging year for the retail community, our categories are more powerful than ever. This year, retailers have made such powerful transitions from offline to online and these awards are a wonderful way to showcase how the high street has adapted to this new way of working,” said Hyve.
Categories include the Sustainability Initiative Award, the Instore Creativity Award, the Community Award, the Bricks and Clicks Award, the Digital Impact Award, and the Retail District Award.
