LOL Surprise franchise “reaches new heights in 2020” as MGA cracks DreamToys Top 12 for fourth year running

MGA Entertainment’s UK managing director, Neil Bandtock has billed 2020 as the year that its popular LOL Surprise franchise has ‘reached new heights’, having found itself making the DreamToys Top 12 Toys for Christmas listing for the fourth time in a row.

It is the company’s LOL Surprise Remix OMG Fashion Dolls that have cracked the list – recognised as the ultimate selection of the predicted best-sellers for UK consumers ahead of the all important festive shopping season – this year, marking the fourth year that the fashion doll brand has featured since its launch in 2016.

2020 has witnessed the collectable doll brand enter the music space with the launch of its LOL Surprise Remix OMG Fashion Dolls range, as each character comes with its own music accessory. Kids can unbox the full-size record and play it on the record player packaging and listen to tunes of LOL Surprise.

There are currently four LOL Surprise Remix OMG Fashion Dolls to collect, including R&B diva Kitty K, popstar fashionista Pop B.B, country girl Lonestar and hip-hop queen Honeylicious.

Neil Bandtock, UK managing director for MGA Entertainment, said: “2020 has seen L.O.L. Surprise! reach new heights, introducing ever expanding innovation to the toy market as well as entering the music world for the first time with Remix.

“We are thrilled to have been recognised with a place in the DreamToys top 12 for the fourth consecutive year and are truly excited with so much more to come in 2021.”

Additional lines within the L.O.L. Surprise! Remix series include all new Hair Flip dolls, new Pets, a 2020 Collector doll, and playsets the 4-in-1 Plane and Super Surprise – plus the first official Remix Album featuring original music. Unbox the new characters and discover hidden music and lyrics within the reusable packaging.
