Schleich UK kicks off its Christmas 2020 campaign bringing digital engagement to physical retailers

Schleich UK has kicked off its Christmas 2020 campaign, a move to drive more fans to engage with the popular toy brand when shopping at retailers in the UK and Ireland, with the launch of a digital raffle initiative.

Schleich is delivering Christmas themed POS to retailers across the UK and Ireland, each featuring reindeer designs and details on how to take part in this year’s campaign. Shoppers will then stand the chance of winning one of 20 surprise packages.

To take part, entrants must first download the Schleich Stories App. Then, at the POS, kids are encouraged to pick out the Schleich figures and play-sets they’d like to receive for Christmas, and use the app to make a wish list video of these products. They can then present their video to Schleich’s festively clad reindeer, as well as their friends and family.

Paul Dearlove, trade marketing manager, Schleich UK, said: “We know that Schleich fans look forward to our Christmas campaigns each year. Last year, we ran our Golden Donkey Campaign, which went down a storm. This year, we’ve given our Christmas campaign a digital upgrade. This is just one of the many initiatives we have run across retail this year which echoes the major uplift in marketing support we are giving our customers in 2020.”

Schleich’s Christmas campaign is now live, with two lucky winners to be drawn each week. The last draw will be made on Tuesday 15 December 2020.
