Eco-friendly plush finds spot alongside LEGO Mario in Selfridges’ top toy picks for Christmas 2020

Keel Toys’ sustainable range of eco-friendly plush animals has found itself rubbing shoulders with the familiar Top Toys for Christmas picks such as LEGO Mario, VTech’s Kidizoom and Spin Master’s Present Pets this year, as Selfridges puts its own spin the predicted top sellers for the 202 festive season.

Earlier this year, the department store underlined its commitment to the sustainability drive with plans to ‘overhaul the way in which consumers shop,’ to drive home the eco-friendly message that will define the 21st century consumer. More recently, the retailer highlighted a host of sustainability-focused toy lines that it had since brought to the forefront in-store.

Now, it would appear that sustainability has become a part of Selfridges’ Christmas toy narrative, placing Keel Toys’ own eco-friendly range of plush animals alongside some of the biggest names to be hitting retailers’ top toys for Christmas lists this year.

Made from 100 per cent recycled plastic, it’s Keel Toys’ Eco Snow Leopard Soft Toy that finds itself shoulder to shoulder with the like of Barbie’s Dream House, Spin Master’s Present Pets, and VTech’s Kidizoom Studio.

Of course, the retro vibe of the kidult market remains a strong force as Selfridges’ lists the LEGO Super Mario: Adventures with Mario Starter Set, alongside the LEGO Technic Lambourghini.

It will come as no surprise to see LOL Doll Remix occupy the list this year, a collection of four dolls with a different identity inspired by pop icons. Each doll comes with a second outfit, while the innovative packaging turns into a vinyl player when you place a pink record on the turntable.

Little Live Pets ‘Gotta Go’ Flamingo has become a staple addition to all retailers’ top toys for Christmas lists this year, and Selfridges’ is no exception, likewise the Laser Battle Hunters interactive toy set is primed to cause a stir, just like the PAW Patrol Dino Patroller.

The Peppa Pig Shopping Centre featuring six different areas across two floors with a working left between them completes the top toy picks from Selfridges this year.
