Success at Smart Toys & Games as the company stacks up award wins throughout 2020

A roundup of recent award wins for the multi-level logic games and magnetic play-sets specialist, Smart Toys & Games sees the firm count no fewer than eight trophies won across numerous industry awards this year, as well as a placing finalist in this year’s Progressive Preschool Awards.

The run of good fortune kicked off with two coveted accolades in this year’s Independent Toy Awards, in which both SmartGames and SmartMax were voted as favourite brands among the nation’s independent toy retailers.

A new addition to the bestselling SmartMax ‘My First’ collection – the My First Sounds & Senses – took the top spot in the Construction category, while SmartGames took the bronze in the Educational Games category with Shooting Stars.

The excitement continued as three new products made it onto Made For Mums list of ‘Top 100 Christmas Toys’. All toys that make the list are rigorously tested by children, their parents and the MadeForMums team.  Featured products include Froggit – SmartGames new multi-player board game, Plug & Play Puzzler – a 3D puzzle that doubles as a fidget cube, and SmartMax ‘My First’ Sounds & Senses.

Another recent announcement saw Smart Games announced as finalists for the Best STEM / Educational Range at the Progressive Preschool Awards. The brand’s latest fairy tale preschool game ‘Jack and the Beanstalk’ is now in the running to scoop the top prize in November.

Finally, Smart Games has recently scooped Bronze for its riveting new family board game ‘Froggit’ and Silver for the new SmartMax ‘My First’ Sounds & Senses set in the annual Dadsnet Awards. Now in its fifth year, the Dadsnet Awards were created so that Dads can champion the very best baby, toddler & children’s brands in the market so this is another great achievement for 2020.

Karen Clarke, UK brand director at Smart Toys and Games said: “2020 has undoubtedly been a challenging year, and so for a selection of our new products to be recognised and rewarded is amazing news for the whole team. Smart Toys & Games create high quality, thoughtfully designed toys & games that encourage children to learn through play and we are thrilled this has been recognised by such established awarding teams.”
