Revell to supply Carrera brand to UK and Ireland retail from January 2021

Revell has confirmed that it will be supplying the renowned Carrera brand to UK and Ireland retailers from next year. This is the latest development for the toy brand following its acquisition by Revell owner, Quantum Capita Partners.

Further to the acquisition, Carrera products, which includes its market leading portfolio of slot racing cars and track sets, will be supplied to the UK and Ireland alongside Revell from January 2021 under the operating title Carrera Revell UK Ltd. The unit will be headed up by the Revell UK and Ireland country manager, Jamie Mabbs.

Carrera Toys has build an enviable catalogue of brands and licensed ranges in recent years that includes partnerships with Nintendo for the Mario Kart license, Spin Master for PAW Patrol, and Universal Brand Development for Minions.

“I am delighted that we can now offer two quality brands in Revell and Carrera. The additional licenses of Mario Kart, Paw Patrol and Minions will greatly enhance both our domestic, and FOB programmes for 2021 within RC vehicles and slot car racing,” Mabbs told ToyNews.

“I am confident that Carrera Revell UK will be a major force within Hobby, Toy and Pre-School.”

‘The Carrera  brand is known for producing true-to-life and high quality products, with cutting edge technology  standards,’ read a statement from the team. ‘Furthermore, Carrera Toys GmbH develops and distributes various radio controlled vehicles such as cars, aircraft, and drones under the Carrera RC brand.’

Carrera Revell UK Ltd will operate from January 2021 and will be headed by existing Revell UK  and Ireland Country Manager, Jamie Mabbs. For enquiries, contact Revell on 01296 660291.
