LEGO, Disney and Marvel named in Bargain Max’s most in demand toy brands for Christmas 2020

LEGO, Disney, and Marvel have come in at the top three most expected and in-demand toy brands for Christmas, according to the results of a new survey from the online discount toy retailer, Bargain Max.

The retailer surveyed more than 2,500 parents ahead of this year’s big festive season to get a grasp on the shopping habits, trends and top brands to be looking out for for 2020, with 90 per cent of the cross-section revealing their plans to spend more online this year and avoid the traditional, large Christmas shopping crowds.

The Manchester-based retailer also looking into parents’ spending and brand affinity, discovering that LEGO is pipped to be the most popular brand – taken an almost 14 per cent share of the votes – this Christmas.

The top ten most in demand brands, according to Bargain Max, for Christmas 2020 are:

  1. LEGO – 13.7 per cent

  2. Disney – 11.6 per cent

  3. Marvel – 8.5 per cent

  4. Barbie – 7.6 per cent

  5. L.O.L Surprise – 7.1 per cent

  6. PAW Patrol – 6.3 per cent

  7. Playmobil – 5.7 per cent

  8. Crayola – 5.5 per cent

  9. Fisher-Price – 5.3 per cent

  10. Peppa Pig – 5.2 per cent

A spokesperson for Bargain Max, said: “Consumers are planning to do their Christmas shopping online this year, and there are plenty of exciting toy brands to choose from.

“Our survey revealed that LEGO, Disney and Marvel are going to be the most popular brands and we are pleased to be able to offer an array of exciting toys at a discounted price saving families money.”
