Orchestrated by Toy Industries of Europe, entries have and will further be judged by a panel of industry experts covering each of the fields, covering three categories: children’s empowerment, improving the world’s enviornmental sustainability, and encouraging kids’ future skills.

With the winners set to be revealed on September 30th this year, Toy Industries of Europe has detailed its shortlist of finalists. These are: Learning Resources, Hasbro, Chicco, Clementoni, Twin, The Good Life, Geomag, Dan Toy, and Mattel.

Earlier this year, chairman of the TIE Board and MD EMEA at Mattel, Sanjay Luthra, said: “The Awards will champion the products and initiatives of forward-looking manufacturers throughout Europe and will highlight how toy companies – no matter what size – are behaving like leaders, thinking beyond the product itself and towards the impact their company has on the planet and kids’ futures.”

In a social media post announcing the finalists, Toy Industries of Europe, said: “Congratulations to the finalists of the Play for Change Awards. Full list of winning products and initiatives to be announced in one week. Thank you so much to all participants for their great entries with some very close calls! Stay tuned.”
