Menkind to open concessions within select Debenhams stores across the UK

The gifts and gadgets retailer, Menkind has detailed its plans to open a series of 23 concessions within selected Debenhams stores across the UK. The retail brand is kicking off the plans from the start of this October.

With all Menkind stores having recently reopened after the lockdown period, the initiative continues this positive development and will see the retailer strengthen its presence in the lead up to the busy Christmas shopping period.

The new concessions will be staffed by over 50 new recruits across all locations, and will stock all the core Menkind product range, including a wealth of gifts, tech and gadgets, as well as the latest Christmas range, with licensed merchandise and a wide choice of novelty and personalised items, perfect for the gifting season.

Confirmed Debenhams store locations where Menkind will open include Bath, Birmingham, Cardiff, Colchester, Guildford, Manchester, Luton, London Oxford Street, Middlesbrough, Warrington and more.

Fred Prego, director of marketing and e-commerce at Menkind, said: “The past few months have presented a unique challenge for the retail sector, and we are incredibly grateful to our customer base for their continued support. We are most excited to start our partnership with Debenhams, and feel that their long standing retail expertise, brand reputation and widely accessible store network will help us best serve UK customers, as they return to shopping in-store.

“What is more, we are confident that our extensive range of unique gifts and gadgets will be the perfect addition to the wider Debenhams offering in the lead up to Christmas.”

Andrea Abbis, Debenhams marketing director, added: “At Debenhams we are constantly keeping abreast of trends and working to ensure our customers enjoy a unique and varied shopping experience; the new Menkind concessions will complement our existing product offering perfectly, and contribute to providing our customers with an exciting Christmas gifts range. We look forward to a fruitful partnership in the months to come.”
