SmartMax launches latest expansion to its best-selling My First range

The award-winning pre-school magnetic construction sets brand, SmartMax, is expanding its My First collection with the launch of three new sets this summer. Joining the ever-growing line-up this season is the My First Vehicles, Animals, and Sounds & Senses, each designed for kids aged one to five.

The launch marks the latest expansion for the My First line, a brand that has already proven to be a best-selling collection for SmartMax here in the UK.

Leading the new line-up is the My First Vehicles selection, a set that will have kids building their own Cement Mixer and dumper truck, or putting out fires with the fire engine. The set includes 13 large and tactile pieces that click together thanks to the signature SmartMax magnetic bars and SmartMax ball.

It is joined by the My First Animals set that sees the arrival of the magnetised bear, elephant, seal, and horse. The extra-large animals are soft to touch, and easy to grab and connect using the magnetic bars. Each piece is 100 per cent compatible with all other sets, so little ones can ‘mix and match’ animals to create creatures of their own.

Finally, My First Sounds & Senses features four new SmartMax bars and balls, each one developed with a different sound and texture. Children can shake, rattle and building with a set brought to life with the different faces drawn on each side of the ball, each depicting different emotions.

The My First Sounds & Senses set has been developed to help children distinguish sounds, which is proven to have a positive effect on language development.

Karen Clarke, UK brand director for Smart Toys and Games, said: “We are so excited to launch our new SmartMax sets – the My First range is one of our bestselling collections so we are delighted that fans can now add even more fun to the magnetic mix.

“The My First Sounds & Senses set is something really new for the range and makes a fantastic gift for a baby’s first birthday. Thanks to the different textures and sounds, it will have little ones engaged for hours.”
