McLaren introduces its newest children’s ride-on, the McLaren Senna

McLaren is offering kids the chance to burn some rubber with the launch of its latest McClaren ride-on, the third in the British manufacturer’s range of children’s models, following the McLaren P1TM and McLaren 720S.

The new launch – the Senna Ride-On – is modelled on McLaren’s track vehicle bearing the name of the late Brazilian driver Ayrton Senna, a three-time McLaren F1 world champion. The scaled-down version arrives in five McLaren paint colours – black, white, Mire orange, Vega blue, and Memphis red, as well as a special edition sixth colour: yellow with green accents.

As reported by The Week, the limited edition colour has been designed to pay homage to the design of Senna’s own race helmet.

The new ride-on is aimed at three to six year olds and features all the functions of last year’s 720S Ride-On, including working dihedral doors to allow easy access, an authentic push-button start to activate the Senna engine sounds and more. An infotainment system can access files from a USB device or SD card, allowing kids to play their own tunes while cruising.

The McLaren Senna Ride-On is priced at £375  in the UK and is available to order now at McLaren Retailers and selected toy retailers.
