Toyologist, Peter Jenkinson has partnered with the team at McCann Central PR and Facebook to launch a free to view webinar exploring just what Christmas is going to look like for shoppers and the toy industry this year. Called A Covid Christmas, the webinar goes live today at 12.30pm.
“It’s fair to say that this Christmas is going to be different, so brands need to respond to their customers differently,” said Jenkinson. “But what do customers want this Yuletide? And how can companies best engage?”
In their 30 minute free to view webinar, Jenkinson and the team at McCann Central PR and Social will look to answer the questions as they explore the likely gifting trends and the subtle, but commercially significant shift from Christmas shopping to Christmas buying this year, along with some ideas around how to create brand standout in the media.
“Facebook’s Gareth Maguire will explain the subtle but commercially significant shift from Christmas shopping to Christmas buying and how to capitalise on this new behaviour in the social space,” said Jenkinson.
Meanwhile, Jenkinson himself will share his expertise having written gift guides for T3, The Daily Mail, Metro, Telegraph and the Press Association to discuss likely gifting trends in the current Covid climate.
