Asmodee is launching its own summer competition under its new #PlayItOutdoors campaign, a movement to encourage games fans to take their favourite titles outside and stand the chance to win a £2,000 every week.
With the Covid-19 pandemic leaving many families stuck largely at home this summer, Asmodee is promoting board games as the perfect activity for households and social bubbles who are looking for something to do, simply by taking their games out into the garden or park.
Each week the company will publish a post on its Instagram account @asmodeeuk, highlighting one of eight key gaming brands, that will then be given a substantial digital advertising push to reach millions of UK consumers. All entrants have to do to stand a chance at winning the weekly cash prize is to post a photo of themselves playing any of the eligible games in an outdoors setting, tagging @asmodeeuk and using the hashtag #playitoutdoors within the same post.
Asmodee will spotlighting eight of the best and most beloved family and party games. The featured games are Dobble, Ticket to Ride, Rory’s Story Cubes, Catan, Bananagrams, Dixit, Just One and Codenames. Though each week’s post will highlight a different game, all eight are eligible choices for submission in entrants’ photos no matter which week, including all individual products in their respective ranges – which that titles like last year’s hit Harry Potter Dobble can be featured.
In addition to digital advertising, Asmodee will be using a number of popular Social Media Influencers to extend the reach and impact of the eight-week competition to an even wider family audience.
Retailers are encouraged to stock up on the featured products and to share Asmodee’s weekly posts to give their customers a shot at winning the weekly jackpot.
