TAGIE namechange sees the Toy & Game International Excellence Awards now open for nominations

Chicago Toy & Game Group has opened the nomination process for this year’s annual TAGIE Awards event, as well as presenting a number of changes to its inventor-focused event in order to deliver one ‘bigger and better’ than before.

Now marking its 13th year, the 2020 awards have been renamed the Toy & Game International Excellence Awards in recognition of the global reach of the event that taps into the Chicago Toy & Game Group’s community spanning over 150 countries.

Also new for this year is a fresh category in the form of Most Innovative Supplier. The full list of categories is:

● Toy Innovator of the Year
● Game Innovator of the Year
● Rising Star Innovator of the Year
● Young Inventor of the Year
● Innovative Art and Visuals of the Year
● Innovative PR & Marketing Team of the Year
● Most Innovative Retailer Award
● Most Innovative Supplier

Those wanting to nominate have until August 15th to do so, and you can get your nominations in by clicking here.

Ten finalists from each category will be announced on September 15th when voting opens to the general public, media and industry.
