Playmobil launches its first digital-physical-spanning collectable EverDreamerz

Playmobil has launched a new digital-meets-real world concept for 2020 that taps into the current demand from the collecables market with EverDreamerz.

The new line has been developed with the aim of delivering a ‘new way for youngsters to immerse themselves in creative storytelling,’ as each box comes with collectables cards, bracelets, beads, charms and accessories, as well as stickers to complete a free sticker booklet.

EverDreamerz’s digital platform comes in the form of its interactive website through which fans can engage with the cast of characters that they collect in the real world. Tweens and teens will join new characters Viola, Rosalee, Clare, Starleen, and Edwina as they embark on their digital adventures in series one of the launch.

The first series – available from March 2020 – sees the five friends venture to Rosalee’s Candy World dreamscape. The evil Lady Nightmare tries to turn the girls’ dreams into nightmares, but the power of friendship unites them, and they go on to meet a cast of supporting characters along the way.

There are 12 additional characters to collect, including the likes of Mrs Milkshake and Mr Cookie Bear.

Series 2 – released later in 2020 – will focus on Edwina’s dream world, Comic City, where everything can be both drawn and erased.

The EverDreamerz range, which is suitable for kids aged seven and upwards and will be available from March 2020, with a second series launching later in the year.
